Wow!!! I want to Say a BIG thank you the Buy Nothing organization for collecting 800LBS of clothes! After the posting on Sept 19 that we need Kids/Men’s clothing. Thank you Lynn and Caleigh Kirk from Buy Nothing Mission Valley/Tierrasanta/Murphy Canyon/Serra Mesa, Lisa and Eleanor Galyean from Buy Nothing Rancho Peñasquitos West for all donations. Sharia's Closet rely heavily on donations and contribution.

Hoops4Hope event 2018 – The San Diego Workforce Partnership, RISE San Diego and CONNECTING Hope are working together for the first ever Hoops4Hope event. Hoops4Hope is a community basketball tournament that is focused on building and strengthening community relations with young adults and City of San Diego entities. Sharia’s closet was there passing out information about volunteering opportunity at the closet. Also, to let the neighborhood know that we are here for families that needs our services. Thanks you to Shamine, Sharia, Vaniety, Alona for working the event and Shamari/Dimitri for playing in the basketball tournament.

Today on the Ellen show February 02, 2018 - Ellen's 60th Birthday Extravaganza, Part 2. Ellen DeGeneres Surprises Audience of Do-Gooders with ‘Biggest’ Gift Ever! The Talk show host shells out $1 million for her studio audience to split. Ellen filled her birthday show audience with hundreds of do-gooders who wrote in with their acts of kindness for the One Million Acts of Good Campaign. To celebrate surpassing the one-million mark, Ellen and Cheerios gave her fans one of the most massive cash prizes ever on the show!

What a whirlwind day! From start to finish all the volunteers today was incredible, and because of their dedication and hard work, our MLK volunteer day event was a great success. Thank you so much for your commitment of time and energy to Sharia’s Closet mission. 23rd Annual Christmas Extravaganza! - Sharia's Closet

Welcome to the upcoming 23rd Annual Christmas Extravaganza where Dr. Carol and her group of volunteers distribute a massive amount of free groceries and gifts to the people in need in the city of San Diego. No one is turned away. For the last 22 years they have given to children of prison inmates, men, women, children, seniors, refugees, disabled, disabled veterans and whomever else who is in need. Gifts vary every year. They have included clothing, appliances, groceries, pets, resources, cooked food, cameras, jewelry, computers, bicycles, Mp3 players, toys, CD players, and more. Joining the Team this year is Shaback Inc., NFL Association, Pro Players, And Steve Pierce Foundation. It takes a team.
